The Fall Festival is the town of Pahrump's greatest event of the year, and with only five weeks until the 58th annual festival, preparations and enthusiasm are heating up.
General admission to the event is free for guests, however there is a fee for both the carnival and the rodeo, tickets for which are presently on sale.
Patrons can now purchase tickets in advance, but officials from the town and county caution that they should only do so through legitimate channels.
"We encourage rodeo and carnival passes to be purchased through the website and official locations."
"Be cautious when making purchases from third-party sources," the town's website warns.
Carnival tickets are $35 for an all-day wrist band that is valid for one day only. Families and large parties, on the other hand,
can save $25 by getting the mega pass, which includes five wristbands for $150.
The rodeo will be conducted in conjunction with the Pahrump Fall Festival on Friday and Saturday, September 22 and 23,
